Born in Brasília, she received her Degree in Medicine at Catholic University of Brasília (UCB) in 2010 and, during the course, showed interest in surgery with participation in national and international congresses, both as a listener and as a host for numerous works (posters and videos).

She specialized in General Surgery at the University Hospital of Brasília (HUB / UnB) from 2011 to 2013. Then, she opted to specialize in Colorectal Surgery and held her medical residency at the Armed Forces Hospital (HFA) from 2014 to 2016, being taught and trained by Dr. Fábio Soares, technical director of COLONO and currently supervisor of the Medical Residency Program in Colorectal Surgery at HBDF.

She participated in the second postgraduate course in Colorectal Surgery at the Tâmega and Sousa Hospital Center, linked to the University of Porto, Portugal, in the first half of 2016, with scientific support from the International Association of Surgeons, Gastroenterologists and Oncologists (IASGO), Portuguese Society of Surgery, Portuguese Society of Coloproctology and Portuguese Society of Minimally Invasive Surgery. It is a course taught and organized by Professor Joaquim Manoel Costa Pereira, an internationally known colorectal surgeon, regularly invited to lecture in Europe and Brazil. Under his guidance, she was able to dabble in several innovative surgical techniques, acquiring good experience in laparoscopic colorectal surgery.

She is a member of the Brazilian Society of Coloproctology, having obtained her Specialist Degree in Coloproctology upon being approved in a competition in 2016. She is regularly registered with the Regional Council of Medicine of the Federal District as a specialist in General Surgery and Coloproctology.
